Great players consistently do break xG. Suarez has for the majority of his career. Messi has nearly every season by like .3 per game. Benzema is of the quality that he does consistently as well, as long as he's getting a decent number of chances.

Probably preaching to the choir since most ppl here probably enjoy stats, but its really infuriating when ppl say “stats are ruining football etc”. Stats are such a good way for us to actually understand the game and dissect between execution, game plan, and luck, as well as giving us a fairer way to judge players and coaches. So bravo on the video!
