15 games 2 losses one on penalties 18 points off Chelsea when he arrived it's down to 4 beat Watford Saturday its down to 1 point so don't sit there and pull out these silly negatives after all the darkness round United this season he's done a terrific job and to get a draw away to athletico Madrid is hard at the best of times
Diego messed up. Luis should have been pressing the CBs to free Felix up more
This sloppiness is Manchester United biggest problem since solkjaer ! Every team dominated Manchester ! I don't Know why !
Atleti Rugby football
Maguire has to go our worst captain ever and he’s not wanted at Man Utd!!
Im an Atleti fan but not a bias one. Atletico was clearly the better team in both halfs especially the first one. They attacked and defended very well and their pressing was excellent. Man U was all over the place. They didn't attack, didn't create chances (or couldn't create them), made a lot of mistakes, made a lot of wrong passes and the list goes on. As said Atleti played very well with little mistakes and this is how they should've played both in La Liga and UCL.
I think Rangnick's strategy was not to lose which is really bad for a good team like Man U. On the other hand Atleti played a little bit more defensive after the first goal (which is Simeone's style) and while they had some good chances, they have to attack more because they have the fire power. I have to mention two players that caught my eye, Kondogbia who was excellent except the last minute horrendous pass, Elanga who usually doesn't disappoints when he comes of the bench and Varane who was bad. In the first half, De Gea passed the ball to him and his back was facing it! He was lucky a player wasn't close or the situation could've been different.
Oh and someone asked Ferguson asked about the results and the winner and he said Man U will when by 5 goals! With this Man U and against Atleti?! Was he high or something ?
I knew Manu was scared, when in the first couple of minutes they had a throw in and Fred was wide open no Madrid players were within 10 yards of him and he's telling the thrower to throw the ball up the field and the player was looking at him, Fred didn't want the ball, a matter of fact the only one what wanted the ball was Ronaldo.
Can you believe the most defensive team actually press Man utd and dominated the midfield…While man utd who play pressing game change 360° to counterattacking football
I think simeone did get it wrong with the subs.
Lol?, 4th place Premier league team was outplayed, outmatched by a 5th place LaLiga team & some people call that overrated premier league as the best league in the world/strongest league in the world/toughest league in the world.
They played like Ole did. Rangnick has given up on teaching Gegegegegegegepressing to these Instagram brats.
Manu utd didn't deserve the draw. ATM bullied them. Bruno, pogba, rashfrod all were poor. They don't belongs in this level
Really like Nedum Onouha. Light years better than most of the dross we have to endure over here. Yes I'm looking at you Ferdinand, Richards, Jenas and Murphy.
Elanga has proved beyond all reasonable doubt that some of the academy players are a lot better than some of the so-called established stars. Players like Garner, Hannibal, Amad should be given game time to prove themselves and who knows? They might turn out to be the key that unlocks the door to resounding success
Maguire and Rashford both need to be benched until the end of the season. The pro-British media bias is just astonishing, they are 2 of the biggest flops of any PL club this season but they mostly avoid criticism.
We can't build any momentum at all when at least 2 of our outfield players are guaranteed to be poor in 80%+ of their appearances
I don't see utd going through, atletico never ever gives up and with Maguire and shaw at the heart of defense. No chance. Focus on the league to qualify for the UCL next season.
Call it what it was… it was the worse half we’ve seen?… and I’m a United fan
We need to get the captain’s armband from Slabhead its like he is immune to the bench because of it ?
Manchester United are so confusing?
Sounds like a typical game for them☀️
My analysis ; penaldo will ghost more harder in 2nd leg ?
Atletico Madrid pressing was way better than United. They press in packs of three at with covering the passing lane as well. United doesn't press organised. Just headless chicken running at the player with ball.
Harry Maguire. Holy moly. He runs like someone who was created in a lab by a mad scientist who knew he didn’t have all the working parts to make a real human, so had to use cartilage and sinews from a permanently drunk, three-toed Komodo dragon. The coordination is almost there, but not quite, and the strain of carrying around that enormous head proves too much at times. Long may he continue this rich vein of form.
