Nobody really had a say in Felix's transfer to Atletico when they paid his clause. It was a whole lot o'money for Benfica to turn down, Felix and his agent couldn't turn it down either and I'm sure his feeling at 19 was to be the star man upfront for a team that was fighting in all competitions. If there would be another club offering similar wages, I'm sure he would choose differently, but this wasn't a question of choosing. You guys don't understand what is EUR 126M for a 19 coming through and playing 6 months only in the portuguese league. It is what it is. I say, come on loan to Benfica until the rest of the season, go deep in the UCL and then leave in the summer for a higher fee. Win win for everyone involved. 😀
This joão Felix is overrated dude is not worth 130 million simeone has had loads of attacking players like aguero, Diego forlan , Falcao, Fernando Torress and griezmann who have all adapted to the parking the bus style of atletico you would imagine if aleti spent one 130 mil on a player that he would be able to atleast adapt. Dudes a flop overrated his with about 65mil tops
