I think it was all a plan by Messi and Barcelona . they didnt have money and a better team for Messi 2 years back .and they wanted to break the Messidepencia. so they put the plan to take a break so that we will built a team which is not messi dependent just like what scaloni did when he became the coach. now the team is set so that they can easily add Messi and he can do wonders with prime pedri in mid and auroujo in defence and with a proper 9 like levy.😊
