Gundogan knows how to go forward and counter. He still has the German game in him. Pedri is a pass-back merchant these days. FDJ is irreplaceable in his maintaining the ball and defensive MF roles. Fermin has the go-forward and attack instinct that Pedri critically lacks

You cant realistically expect a team to dominate 100% of the game especially when the game is between 2 huge clubs, the ref was also really bad twards the end of the gane, he was calling everything and handing out undeserved yellows
Raphina was great in my opinion. He pressured so well to win the ball back on many occasions. I’m critical of him as well, but need to give him credit when its due. So much Raphina hate.
Lewa on the other hand has been horrible. I see people saying they’re not giving him the ball, but he doesn’t get in a good position to be an option. Xavi should sub him off to at least make him feel some pressure.
I hope Xavi is going to use this starting lineup against Girona in our next game.
I think we must play this defense when playing against attacking teams like Atletico and Real Madrid,and when playing against strong teams in champions league. Cancelo should be played as LB and Kounde as RB.

I’m really happy with this win. Pena was amazing. The backline we had should always be the go to backline. We created more chances finally, but once again lewandowski had a poor performance.

Why the hell did Xavi keep Lewandowski on the pitch?! A ‘past legend’ status doesn’t entitle anyone to keep a better player on the bench.
Maybe it could be an idea to take out Lewa and play in a 4-2-2-2 system with the same backline, Gündo + DeJong double 6, Pedri and Raph AM and a double 9 that consists of Felix and Ferran. I know that Ferran isn't consistent either, but he works, finds space and Felix would be closer to the opponent's box.
What's is with Lewa is the thing – "He isn't main player and the play doesn't concentrate on him". Barca plays like all around and Lewa is 35. At Bayern he had players, crosses, chances etc. Here he needs to involve, he needs to run more and at the and at the age of 35 you can't run so much. Give Lewa team build so that he gets almost all crosses, he can score. At his peak like 5 or 7 years ago he would be as much as good as he was at Bayern. I don't protect him, just saying…

Top improvement from the guys,lewandoski Hold up and ball control abilities were on point but still lacks sharpness.Rapha has everything except 1 V 1 abilities.The midfield and defence was top notch but Frenkie for me was the MVP.

i really think if gavi was healthy, pedri would be benched. the midfield would be de jong gavi as the double pivot then gundo higher up. the only thing pedri has on gundo is dribbling, but gundo is a better passer and scorer and would be perfect in that cam role. pedri is better overall than gavi, but gavi would fit better because we would control the middle more with his ball recoveries
The answer for our recent form is simply because of FDJ .

Lewa was absolutely terrible. He complained about the service and we give it to him, but we get nothing in return. Raphina is very hit or miss. He has a very high work rate, but he is either poor or great in the final third. Joao Felix was Ok. He actually did very little for the entire game apart from score the goal, which is still good but not great.
Rafinha is literally outplaying yamal on that wing . You can see the energy he brings pressing on the defensive end . The runs he makes on the attacking end . The smart decisions releasing the ball. His finishing and 1v1 need work but outside of that. I’m not mad at all with his performance.
