Erik Ten Hag and Manchester United are set to seek answers from Cristiano Ronaldo on the striker’s future as the club return from their pre-season tours in Australia and Thailand.
Ronaldo failed to report for duty under new boss Erik ten Hag citing a family issue and also making it known that he would like to leave the club this summer. The Portugal captain has been linked with many Champions League clubs but no official offers has been made. The most recent rumor is Atletico Madrid. However, this is unlikely to happen due to various reasons. According to some reports, Man Utd board are willing to let Ronaldo leave on loan despite Ten Hag’s stance on the 37 year old star. The Dutch manager has more than once stated that he wants to keep Ronaldo in the squad and also has plans for him.
However, Ten Hag now wants to know when CR7 will return to Carrington, where United’s players will reconvene for pre-season training on Tuesday. The squad boarded a flight from Australia after their 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in Perth on Saturday, and Ten Hag has given them Monday off before a return to training on Tuesday. United then face two pre-season friendlies in the space of just over 24 hours next weekend, taking on Atletico Madrid in Oslo next Saturday and then Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford on Sunday.

I am a Ronaldo fan but his actions is unacceptable at this point. I could careless if he stays or leave.
