This is not surprises me when they call atletico a boring & ugly team. They had beaten liverpool twice in both legs. So this is just a normal loser's reaction.

Atletico lacked team chemistry because they lost 6 starters from last season. This is why they were playing bad but during the break the players built up this chemistry and they can go a long way now. They almost beat Barcelona last game.
Atletico madrid can keep a lead but they are to defensive if they want to win the UCL they must have a balanced structure and not just UCL but many trophies

I just dont understand these guys preoccupation with all attacking football. Why should Atm change their style when it has worked so successfully for them all these years. Do these people remember Greece winning Euros, they were playing this ugly style of football in some peoples eyes but you cant question the end result. I definitely enjoyed watching them play. In this day and age result is what matters and Atletico have been quite successful.

I feel like ESPN find excuses or discredit any team that does well but isn't from England. Like even before the first leg Atleti vs Liverpool. Ik Liverpool were invincibles and all but how do Liverpool turn out as MASSIVE favorites? I am very against Atleti but I realise that they are a team than can beat Anyone in a given day. I saw many people thinking that Liverpool got an easy tie or something, like srsly just cause a team does well in England doesn't mean the other countries are bound to crumble against them.
