Klopp said "it was a dirty 3 points" and it was. We had to grind it out against the Spanish Champions. Even when we had that dream start I said this is too good to be true and that turned out to be the case. Once Atletico composed themselves they really showed that they are a top-quality side. I do not understand why our haters are calling us "LiVARpool" . VAR clearly showed that Griezmann foot connected with Bobby's face and that there was no push by Jotta. The main thing that I take away from this game, is that LFC can stay in a game when things are not going our way and that we can win ugly if we need to. This is what all championship-winning UCL and PL sides have to be able to do.BTW that bitch-ass Diego Simeone showed how much of a prick he can be by not shaking hands, with Klopp, at the end of the match. I really want us to smash Atletico at Anfield and rub his face in for that.
We didn't let them back in. They earned it. They are a talented bunch and surprised is with their change in tactics. It was always going to be a battle with a win by fine margins.

Atletico players were sleeping in the first 20 minutes. Liverpool players went to sleep after scoring 2 goals.
What matters is after the match who won the game . The team can have 15 clear chances to score . If they can't make it count. It the players fault.
Keita scores only bangers 😂😂. We lacked solidity from midfield, and actually the 2 goals passed through keita in midfield. But I give it all to Allison who saved us for the Day. Remember Allison should be rusty since he has not been training since he has been in Spain since Friday
Salah is the best player in the word right now, just review the 3 goal his produce against Man city, Watford and Atletico.
Alisson did very well to stop at least one shot against Antoine griezmann and one against Jao Felix in a 1V1 situation. The score line could have been a lot different had he not stopped them.
I believe Diego Simeone has the right tactic to counter Klopp's Liverpool. Athletico Madrid with just 25-30% ball possession and still look a lot more dangerous and more likely to score everything the counter attack. While Liverpool with all the ball could hardly penetrate Athletico's defense. This is purely down to Simeone's understanding of Klopp's tactic and bettered him every time they face off.
Yesterday My team Liverpool won only because of individual brilliance by Salah and Alisson and also helped by two stupid and brainless foul by Athletico Madrid's players.
As much as I wanted to praise Naby Keita for that beautiful goal, I think he is not a complete footballer. He lacks defensive ability and without players like Fabinho and Hendo it would be very difficult to put him in a midfield three.

Hi Dominic good win for City, but I would have taken a draw here but this was a massive win. Keita started good but he was very poor for both goals and Klopp showed his ruthlessness by takening Kiera out. Alison proved why he is the best Goalkeeper in the World as we speak.
Defensively we were awful dreadful. My heart was beating like crazy at 2-1.
We need to learn to calm games down after leading .We need to stop turn matches like basketball matches.
