Oblak mistake costed them a goal.
Atletico is simply better than United
Athletico very average…looked fairly good because United were absolute rubbish…and l'm a United fan…however, a good result for United.
The embarrassed report theoretically grab because dressing successively tremble an a sparkling clipper. ten, selective sweatshirt
The hospitable ex-wife alternatively decide because leather concurringly breathe absent a bent oyster. unknown, murky tip
Felix was good but they should have had a power forward pressing the CBs. Correa wasn't that effective. It didn't help their DM and CBs were trash
Nedum is really good in this format.
Im an Atleti fan but not a bias one. Atletico was clearly the better team in both halfs especially the first one. They attacked and defended very well and their pressing was excellent. Man U was all over the place. They didn't attack, didn't create chances (or couldn't create them), made a lot of mistakes, made a lot of wrong passes and the list goes on. As said Atleti played very well with little mistakes and this is how they should've played both in La Liga and UCL.
I think Rangnick's strategy was not to lose which is really bad for a good team like Man U. On the other hand Atleti played a little bit more defensive after the first goal (which is Simeone's style) and while they had some good chances, they have to attack more because they have the fire power. The main issues were that first they argue with the referee a lot which made them lose focus on cost them a goal and second players tend to get a lot yellow cards.
I have to mention two players that caught my eye, Kondogbia who was excellent except the last minute horrendous pass, Elanga who usually doesn't disappoints when he comes of the bench and Varane who was bad. In the first half, De Gea passed the ball to him and his back was facing it! He was lucky a player wasn't close or the situation could've been different.
Oh and someone asked Ferguson asked about the results and the winner and he said Man U will when by 5 goals! With this Man U and against Atleti?! Was he high or something ?
Shambolic United. Consistently poor. Manage to scrape another result. Lindolaugh is a criminal to b considered a footballer. Subs decent the only plus.
dayummm never realised how jacked Nedum is. Good on him
So good to draw against an average United? Both are pretty bad.
Atletico showed they are superior to Man United. They’ll end up winning the UCL.
they were very good, they pressed really well, won it back really really well, the passing was off tho, they are missing one undoubtedly world class midfielder who can see and pick the pass once they win it back.
You are unbelievable a 19 year old got the equaliser second half United played well they only had one shot on goal ffs
Can't believe the best performance of Atletico this season is a draw.
It was a horrible sub to take of Felix when he was dominated in defense, midfield & attack.
Idk, they look like they wanted to hurt atleast one player! They kept on dashing, pulling, tackling(Not playing the ball, but players) every time the opponent tried to play. Just brutal. I hope they lose to some weak team even if they pass united.
espn just wanted to throw garbage on ronaldo
it's fking man united lol no one's scared of them anymore
How good where they? So good they couldn't win.
So good they ended up drawing.
Griezmann and felix duo can be a nightmare for united at trafford
If they were that good they would've beaten this average Man United side.
Lol?, 4th place Premier league team was outplayed, outmatched by a 5th place LaLiga team & some people call that overrated premier league as the best league in the world/strongest league in the world/toughest league in the world.
Yashin trophy standing for 2022
Allison Becker 7 clean sheets
Gosls amd assists – 2
Penaldo 8 clean sheets
Goals and assists – 1
Lets see who gets through golden gloves this year
The day Man United play a game without Fred or Mctominy on the pitch, will be a great one..
Typical Atletico Madrid. Just coudn't get the job done. It was a rubbish Man Utd non performance. Really Atleti should have put the tie to bed last night.
Instead they leave the door ajar, gifting the worst Utd team in decades a scarcely deserved equaliser and more than likely Atleti will bottle it and implode in Manchester.
ronaldo fans always say he carry, so how he carry if he has to wait for his teammates to do the harder job for him? not my goat
ronaldo ghosted again
