At his press conference Jurgen Klopp addresses his past criticism of Diego Simeone who he faces when Liverpool take on Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
Liverpool boss Klopp, speaking before his squad fly out to Madrid for Tuesday’s match, also addresses Mohamed Salah’s chances of winning the Ballon d’Or, and whether the forward’s fantastic form helps or hinder the club in contract negotiations.
Klopp also acknowledges the rest of the squad’s quality and it’s importance against teams like Atletico Madrid.

i didn't like the answer of klop when the man asked him about salah's contract if you renew it or no according to his skills , he said i don't know let's see ,, if you don't need salah in liverpool , we need him to be in the reds but if you keep showing him that you can give up on him easily or you don't desire in him , others teams wait a word from Mo , the first is Man city , Real madrid and even PSG , he can go there and ask the money he wants , stop underestimate the man because he is sensitive person , you should show him better than that?

I think what’s improved this year with Mo is his strength on the ball. His hold up play. It was so so before but much better this year. I was impressed with the way he shrugged off the defender before making the pass for Liverpool’s first goal against Warfield.
We can try to beat the master of dark arts team by learning from those that have beat them like Alaves, Feyenoord or Salzburg. They have a very tight defence and have lost by only 1 goal difference and we need Mo's magic, Thiago's vision if he is fit and even give Minamino, our little Japanese Messi, a chance maybe as a sub.

My criticism of the liverpool performance vs athletico last time is liverpool front 3 was trying to play fancy football instead of basic football by doing overhead kicks and flicks when it wasn't needed. So hopefully they play attacking football for 90 minutes and athletico will tire before liverpool. So liverpool will win the game as long as they combine basic football with endurance

Liverpool may win many accolades this season, but they have to keep all the key players fit and firing in all cylinders. The front three, Van Dijk, Matip, Robertson, Trent, Fabinho, Henderson and Alisson must be fit and avoid long term injuries
Give full credit to Mr Klopp for this. He had to deal with loosing players in Gigi. Jones and Elliot, being harassed by media and supporter concern about transfer ins during the transfer window.
