Moreno believes Atleti are a team in full control of their destiny, but worries that Diego Simeone will derail his club by trying to play too defensive vs. Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid. Laurens loves the confidence Atletico Madrid has been playing with and says beating Real Madrid would put them «in very strong position» to win the La Liga title.

If atletico somehow beat us they are winning the la liga. 12 points is not something this real madrid or barca will overcome, i dont care how many games left. We will challenge atleti but if we are to go 12 points behind i dont see us winning this league.. unless atleti and simeone develop a brain fog in matches. I think maybe your underrating Real just a bit, i think Real will clutch the match 2-1 late possible 3-1.. and that's considering Atleti will be atacking therefore they will score, on the other hand they have been a defensive side for a long time, and if they come out here with pedal to the metal attack.. they are not ready for Real's Vinicius-Benzema-Rodrygo trio.
