If you ask me, Pep should repeat the front 3 that ended the game vs Atleti against liverpool. Maybe Sterling for Grealish but Gaby still in the middle for his pressing and ofcourse Foden on the right to make it difficult for Roberson. Bernardo should never ever play false 9. 100% in the midfield
Awful game awful squad balance awful possession based going nowhere football that as a life long city fan is so boring to watch. Quit literally city defend with their possession which basically translates to never trying to score football. Said when united lost to barca in a few CL I would hate to watch this football every week , well 7 years and counting aweful
KDB is we worth every cent he's paid. These are extraordinary times and we need every one on the team to play their part. This moment my be the one we all remember the Citizens reach the mountain top. The only thing that pissed me off was Gabby's booking. I lost respect the Athletic's gamesmanship too. Steve I have to say, you have a blind spot for Rodri. He constantly has blind lapses on the ball. He receives the ball and his first look is backwards. He gives the ball up in bad areas way too often. I really don't think he is Pep quality. He heads the ball blindly, he turns the ball over, and when our center backs have the ball, he is in absolutely and I mean completely in useless positions, and refuses to move into space. Maybe I am spoiled at Fernandinho and his play style, but I am very rarely impressed with Rodri. You talk him up 8/10 videos and I constantly am unhappy with his effort.
You know that Rory fella on 888sport thinks athletico controlled this game. He said they missed big chances. Athletico became the first team to not have a single shot in ucl he’s clearly scared to see city in the semis. Chelsea probably won’t make it.

Good win, just as I predicted that the goal would never score until the second half subs, Sterling cannot play false nine against technical teams, Pep needs to play the team to its strength.
