I think being partnered with Morata and Griezmann floating behind Felix and Morata will workout great. Asking a lot for Felix but I think he’s finally adjusting. It’s not easy especially his age but I think he will flourish this year forsure.
Felix has been adjusting for the past three years. Playing for Atletico is extremely demanding which requires more work than just scoring goals as a forward. As of last season Felix seems as though he has bought in to Atletico's tactics and I think Atletico fans will love that. He is expected to have a great next season. Wishing the best also for is strike partner Griezmann as well.
Diego keeps playing him out of position, he's a better fit for pep or Xavi

I would love Felix at City. Won’t happen but I feel he would be the perfect fit.
Man City and Guardiola's system would have been perfect for him. I still think he has tremendous talent, but he's clearly at the wrong club.
What has thwarted his progress is his constant injuries. 2-3 per season since joining Atleti. The ridiculous argument that he will not thrive because Atleti is defensive is from people that forget that under Simeone, Falcao, Costa and Griezmann scored more than 30 goals per season. He made the decision to gain weight and muscle in the off season and in preseason training, got injured again.
Felix should stay at Atleti, my preseason prediction is that he will lead LaLiga in goals this season. You could see he finally built up confidence at his role with the club before his season ending injury.
